Our client is scaling up an innovative carbon-based anode material manufacturing process and seeks a skilled Process Engineer to join their team. This role bridges R&D, contract manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure the process is efficient, safe, and ready for production scale. The Process Engineer will: * Design, document, and optimise manufacturing processes for carbon-based anode materials * Collaborate with external partners to capture and integrate technical knowledge * Ensure processes comply with regulatory and safety standards * Support scale-up from lab to pilot and full production, including equipment and process control selection * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality * Provide input on future facility layout and process specifications The Process Engineer will have: * Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemistry * 3+ years\’ experience in process development or scale-up in chemical, materials, or battery manufacturing * Experience with carbon materials (activated carbon, graphite) desirable * Strong knowledge of chemical processing, mass balance, and industrial safety * Proven ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, production, and compliance teams * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in scaling cutting-edge battery technology.
