- Ensuring compliance with relevant battery and automotive safety standards, including UN 38.3, IEC, UL and ISO 6469.
- Creating and executing electrical design verification and validation plans, supporting prototype builds, testing and system bring‑up.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline, or significant relevant industry experience demonstrating equivalent capability.
- At least 5 years' experience in electrical design for battery systems, HV systems or automotive electrical engineering.
- Proven hands‑on experience designing complete electrical systems, not limited to EDS, software or PCB‑only responsibilities.
- Strong technical expertise across battery electrical architectures, including HV safety, LV electronics, sensing and protection strategies.
- Experience working with BMS hardware, including hardware integration, sensing and protection circuitry.
- A strong understanding of structured product development processes, including requirements management, DFMEA and DVP.
