We’re looking for a motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join a hands-on engineering team working on hydrogen-based clean energy solutions. You’ll be directly involved in designing, installing, testing and commissioning real-world electrical systems that support hydrogen production technologies. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll gain practical exposure from concept through to operational delivery.

The Graduate Electrical Engineer will:

  • Install electrical systems including wiring, control systems and associated equipment in line with technical drawings and specifications
  • Support the installation and integration of hydrogen production equipment (including electrolysers and compressors)
  • Conduct testing and fault-finding using appropriate diagnostic tools to ensure systems operate safely and effectively
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections and fault diagnosis on hydrogen production systems
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical regulations, codes and safety standards
  • Support the Fuel Production Engineering Team in the design of site electrical systems

The Graduate Electrical Engineer will have:

  • A First-Class degree in Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Exposure to practical problem-solving through university projects, placements, internships or personal projects
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • A genuine interest in zero-emission technology and clean energy
  • Hands-on experience with renewables, hydrogen systems or fuel cells
  • Experience using engineering software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
