We are currently looking for a Lab Technician for our client, a fast-growing, innovative company specializing in the development and production of next-generation lithium-sulfur batteries. The successful candidate will conduct experiments, prepare samples, operate lab equipment, analyse data, and support the wider team.
The Lab Technician will:
- Support the development of advanced battery materials through lab-based research.
- Design and carry out experiments aligned with technical objectives.
- Perform testing and analyse data to evaluate material performance.
- Present findings clearly to internal stakeholders and project teams.
- Maintain and update SOPs to ensure safe and consistent lab practices.
The Lab Technician will have:
- Degree in Materials Science/Chemistry (Preferred) or, engineering, or equivalent (Preferred 1-2 years in industry)
- Some level of experience working in a Research Lab environment (Such as CPI, WMG, etc)
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- A desire to learn a broad range of skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
