We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Buyer (Indirect) to join a well-established, iconic motorcycle manufacturer. This role will focus on supporting procurement activities, supplier relations, and administrative processes across a range of non-engineering categories.
The Junior Buyer will:
- Assist the purchasing team and other departments by monitoring and communicating any supply challenges that could impact ongoing projects.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, helping to resolve issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, or invoices, with escalation where necessary.
- Work closely with colleagues to identify and implement improvements within the purchasing process.
- Participate in assessing supplier performance concerning cost, quality, and delivery reliability, raising concerns when needed.
- Support the preparation of Management Information Systems (MIS) and related reporting.
The Junior Buyer will have:
- A Degree or Diploma, ideally with a background in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience or interest in procurement within a manufacturing or commercial environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to stay organised and focused with strong attention to detail.
