Our client, an iconic motorcycle manufacturer based in the UK is currently looking to hire a Junior Buyer – Accessories. The successful candidate will an enthusiastic and capable individual whose internal relationships will be as important as those with your suppliers.   The Junior Buyer – Accessories will: Purchase Accessories (off the bike), Merchandise and Apparel in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets Process purchase requisitions (as per the agreed guidelines) and release of Purchase Orders to suppliers. Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications, ensuring a professional and consistent approach. Early supplier engagement, preparation and communication of RFQ to supplier. Negotiate supplier quotes for release of PO.   The Junior Buyer – Accessories will have: Experience of merchandise/accessories buying is desirable within a Retail / Merchandise buying environment. Confidence to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments. Comfortable using all Microsoft Office packages. Knowledge and experience of using SAP is desirable.
