The High Voltage Battery Engineer will support the inspection, testing, diagnosis and safe handling of lithium-ion battery systems across a range of customer applications.

Combining workshop and field-based activities, you will work with battery packs, modules and energy storage systems, supporting technical operations both on-site and at customer locations across the UK.

The High Voltage Battery Engineer will

Inspect, test and diagnose lithium-ion battery systems and components.

Carry out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting activities.

Support battery pack and module disassembly in line with safe working procedures.

Conduct planned maintenance, repairs and technical assessments.

Provide engineering support at customer sites across the UK.

Maintain accurate records of testing, inspections and technical work.

Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

The High Voltage Battery Engineer will have

Experience in an electrical, automotive, battery, field service or engineering role.

Experience working with lithium-ion batteries, EV battery packs or energy storage systems.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Experience using electrical test and diagnostic equipment.

Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Knowledge of electrical safety and isolation procedures.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
