We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner – Operations to join a leading manufacturer of motorcycles based in the UK. The successful candidate will support all aspects of management accounts, inventory management, BoM cost tracking, rates modelling, sales reporting, and fixed cost analysis.
The Finance Business Partner – Operations will:
- Organise Stocktake and manage SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for periodic count process.
- Conduct study on Subcontracting Inventory & initiate strong controls.
- Maintain all inventory controls including reconciliation, stock transfers, stock requests, and COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).
- Support make–buy decisions/business cases on subassemblies and components.
- Partner with logistics team in setting up cost-efficient inbound/outbound logistics.
- Initiate stronger controls on freight tracking and supplier claims.
The Finance Business Partner – Operations will have:
- Accounting qualification (AAT essential, ACA, CIMA, ACCA desirable).
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Previous experience in management accounts.
- Advanced user experience of SAP desired.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Exposure to inventory (stock takes, reconciliations, etc.).
