We are currently looking for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer for our client, a global battery organisation designing, developing, and manufacturing high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries. This role focuses on supporting the smooth operation of a highly technical facility.

  • Manage facility maintenance activities across laboratories, workshops, and technical environments.
  • Coordinate contractors and manage RAMS and Permit to Work (PTW) processes.
  • Support the maintenance and uptime of HVAC systems and specialist facility infrastructure.
  • Carry out minor electrical and plumbing maintenance works as required.
  • Manage site spares and ensure critical maintenance stock is available.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance activities to minimise operational disruption.
  • Support goods-in, warehouse, workshop, and stock control activities.
  • Maintain building infrastructure and ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently.

The Facilities Maintenance Engineer will have:

  • Previous hands-on experience within facilities maintenance or building services.
  • Experience undertaking small electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of contractor management processes.
