A producer of cutting-edge integrated electric motor and power electronics modules is currently looking to hire a Chief Motor Controls Engineer. The successful candidate will lead the development of embedded control algorithms and software architectures for advanced electric propulsion systems. The Chief Motor Controls Engineer will: Develop embedded control algorithms for traction and propulsion inverters using MATLAB/Simulink. Design, simulate, and validate motor control strategies for high-performance electric propulsion systems. Implement and optimize real-time control systems for electric motors and inverters. Conduct dynamometer-based validation and HIL testing to ensure system performance and robustness. Configure and integrate AUTOSAR base software for traction and propulsion inverter platforms. The Chief Motor Controls Engineer will have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. Extensive experience in embedded software development for real-time control systems. Strong knowledge of electric motor control, inverters, and power electronics. Hands-on experience with dynamometer testing, HIL simulation, and real-time validation. Proficiency in AUTOSAR, low-level drivers, and microcontroller programming. Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO26262) and software development for safety-critical applications.
