The Power Systems Engineer will take ownership of energy architecture, ensuring consistent performance across a diverse range of applications, from portable systems to fully autonomous platforms. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will lead the design, integration and validation of battery and power systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and performance under demanding realâworld conditions.
The Power Systems Engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing energy systems to support integration across a range of hardware platforms.
- Acting as the technical lead for power requirements across electrical, mechanical and systems interfaces.
- Ensuring stable and uninterrupted power delivery to embedded systems, sensors and autonomous subsystems.
- Developing and implementing thermal management strategies for battery and power systems.
- Testing and validating power systems within lab environments and realâworld field conditions.
- Supporting compliance and safety testing in line with relevant standards (e.g. UL, IEC, CE).
The Power Systems Engineer will have:
- At least 3 years' handsâon experience working with battery and power systems in realâworld applications.
- Strong understanding of battery chemistries, particularly within lowâtemperature or demanding environments.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with battery management systems, thermal control and system integration.
- Practical experience in prototyping, testing and hardware development (e.g. PCB design, soldering).
- The ability to manage technical delivery from concept through to deployment.
