We are a busy limousine and party bus operator based in Swanscombe, Kent, and we are looking for an experienced PSV mechanic to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for keeping our specialist fleet roadworthy, safe, and compliant — working in a fast-paced environment where quick turnarounds are essential.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections on our limousine and party bus fleet
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently
- Responding to breakdowns and getting vehicles back on the road with minimal downtime
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and DVSA compliance checks
- Completing accurate job cards, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
- Working to tight turnaround times to ensure fleet availability for upcoming bookings
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a PSV mechanic/technician — you must be able to hit the ground running
- Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload under time pressure
- Full UK driving licence (PCV licence desirable but not essential)
- Good understanding of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
