Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking a permanent, full-time Residential Property Conveyancer (3+ years’ fee-earning experience) to join a friendly, award-winning Legal 500 rated law firm. Based in the Bromley office, you will benefit from a salary of £40-55k (depending on experience), flexible hybrid working model, industry-leading bonus potential, and genuine client-focused culture.

Role Responsibilities

  • Managing your own fee-earning caseload across all aspects of residential conveyancing
  • Acting for first-time buyers, buy-to-let clients, shared-ownership, and auction transactions
  • Handling re-mortgages, transfers of equity and title, and new-build purchases
  • Navigating complex leasehold matters, including compliance with the Building Safety Act
  • Proactively liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring file compliance, timely billing, and meeting agreed productivity targets

Person Specification

  • A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification fee-earning experience (Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer, or Qualified by Experience)
  • Proven ability to run your own caseload independently, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong IT literacy and familiarity with conveyancing case-management systems
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to exceptional client care
  • Experience of flat sales/purchases and leasehold matters, including Modern Auctions
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work flexibly in a hybrid environment (2–3 days in the Bromley office)
