Eventus Legal are seeking a Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a well‑established and expanding law firm in Darlington, County Durham. This is a newly created permanent Litigation Solicitor job due to increasing demand and an abundance of existing work. The successful Litigation Solicitor will have the opportunity to shape and develop their own practice area whilst benefiting from a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience, hybrid working and remote working flexibility, 36 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, an extended Christmas shutdown, workplace pension and genuine autonomy. Working hours are 8:45am – 5:00pm with a 45‑minute lunch break. Full‑time is preferred, although part‑time applications will be considered.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing a varied litigation caseload
- Advising clients on contentious probate matters
- Advising on land and boundary disputes
- Handling property‑related disputes
- Managing contract and commercial disputes
- Developing specialist areas of practice aligned to your interests
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting the growth of the litigation department
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
