Senior Commercial Property Solicitor in Warwick

Eventus Legal are seeking a Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join a specialist commercial property law firm in Warwick, Warwickshire. This is a full-time, permanent job position offering hybrid working with one day from home each week, flexible start and finish times, a discretionary profit-share bonus, up to 30 days' holiday plus bank holidays, private medical cover and enhanced pension contributions. Role Responsibilities

As Senior Commercial Property Lawyer, you will work alongside the founders and senior team, combining fee-earning with business development, mentoring and increasing strategic involvement. Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing high-quality transactional commercial property matters within your area of expertise, in a practice spanning property development, secured lending, commercial landlord and tenant work and plot sales.

• Developing and maintaining strong client and professional referrer relationships, generating new work through trusted networks and excellent client service.

• Bringing an established client following or portable work sufficient to make the appointment broadly cost-neutral from the outset, with the level expected proportionate to remuneration.

• Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers, helping them develop their technical skills, commercial awareness and confidence.

• Contributing to business strategy, culture and decision-making as you build trust and credibility across the wider team.

• Working towards broader leadership responsibility as part of the firm's planned succession strategy.

Person Specification

This opportunity will suit an experienced commercial property lawyer who enjoys both legal practice and the wider commercial side of running a successful business. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Substantial experience handling transactional commercial property work as a solicitor or chartered legal executive.

• A proven ability to build lasting client relationships, win work and generate repeat instructions and referrals.

• An established client following or portable work, with the scale of that following proportionate to your remuneration expectations.

• A commercially minded and entrepreneurial approach, with a genuine interest in business strategy, culture and long-term growth.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, together with a collaborative and team-focused working style.

• The credibility and communication skills to become a trusted senior figure across the business over time.

• A practical, approachable and client-focused manner, with the ability to provide clear commercial advice on technically demanding matters.

• A willingness to maintain a strong office presence, normally four days each week, to support collaboration and the development of junior colleagues.
