Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a firm based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This is a permanent, full‑time job with hybrid working. Other benefits include a generous holiday allowance and Christmas closure.

Role Responsibilities

  • The incoming Private Client Solicitor will lead the private client function.
  • You will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and services to clients, focusing on areas such as wills and probate matters and lasting power of attorney.
  • This position requires a strong understanding of private client law and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients while ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care whilst working with the Directors on business development.

Person Specification

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years’ PQE or the equivalent level of experience.
  • We would also consider applications from strong candidates looking for employment on a part time basis, a minimum of 4 days per week only.
  • You will also have the following skills and attributes:
    • Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills
    • A solid understanding of relevant legislation and best practices within private client law.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear explanations of complex legal concepts.
