This is an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor with 5+ years PQE who is looking to progress their career within an award winning and dynamic Corporate team, offering high quality work, excellent long term prospects, and exposure to a varied client base across multiple sectors.

The Corporate Solicitor in Tonbridge, Kent will be trusted with a broad and interesting caseload from the outset, advising entrepreneurs, SMEs, large corporates, banks, and high net worth individuals. The role offers a salary of £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, annual bonus, private healthcare, matched employer pension contributions up to 5%, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown, and paid parking.

Role Responsibilities
  • Advising on mergers and acquisitions, including both buy side and sell side transactions
  • Acting for entrepreneurs, SMEs, large corporates, banks, and high net worth individuals
  • Advising on private equity transactions and shareholder agreements
  • Drafting and negotiating company constitutional documents, investment agreements, and commercial documentation
  • Advising on EMI share option plans and management equity plans
  • Supporting clients with restructuring and insolvency related matters
  • Advising on family investment companies and corporate structures for succession and estate planning purposes
  • Handling strategic acquisitions across sectors including healthcare, IT, security, property, retail, veterinary services, leisure, and funeral services
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate support from senior colleagues
  • Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice to clients
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the Corporate team
