Eventus Legal is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well‑established and growing property team based in Solihull, West Midlands. This is a permanent, full‑time role offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, hybrid working arrangements, and a comprehensive benefits package. About the Role
This Commercial Property Solicitor job in Solihull, West Midlands offers the opportunity to manage a varied and interesting caseload covering a broad range of transactional property matters. You will advise a mix of commercial clients, including developers, investors, landlords and tenants, supporting them through all stages of their property transactions, including significant exposure to development work in Solihull and the wider West Midlands region. Working as part of an established property team in Solihull, West Midlands, you will play a key role in delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice whilst developing and maintaining long‑term client relationships. The role provides an excellent platform for progression within a respected and expanding practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied commercial property caseload from instruction through to completion
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold commercial property
- Drafting and negotiating leases, renewals, surrenders and assignments
- Acting for landlords and tenants on a range of commercial lease matters
- Advising on development work, including development sites and regeneration projects in Solihull and the West Midlands
- Conducting due diligence, including title reviews and property searches
- Liaising with lenders, agents, developers and other third parties
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development initiatives and networking opportunities across Solihull and the West Midlands
- Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently with strong attention to deadlines and risk management
- Maintaining accurate and compliant file management practices
- Delivering high standards of client care throughout all transactions
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
About You
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with experience in Commercial Property law, including newly qualified Solicitors who have completed strong property seats during their training contract. You must have experience working on development matters, including development land transactions, site acquisition and/or regeneration projects. You will be confident managing your own caseload and providing clear, commercially focused advice to clients in Solihull, West Midlands and beyond.
