Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a Legal 500 law firm based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a permanent, full-time job with hybrid working (2-3 days per week remote from home). Other benefits include an annual bonus scheme, generous holiday allowance with the opportunity to buy and sell holidays and enhanced maternity / paternity leave.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing a commercial property caseload and leading the team alongside the Head of Department.
- Commercial sales, purchases, site acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, secured lending, development work and corporate support.
- Active involvement in business development with a view to developing professional relationships and growing client base.
- Drafting and negotiating legal documentation including bespoke overage agreements, options, conditional contracts.
Person Specification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in running their own caseload.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload within required timescales.
- Excellent I.T skills.
- Client care skills are essential.
