Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking a qualified Conveyancer with 2-8 years PQE for a permanent, full-time position based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and highly reputable law firm. You will benefit from a salary of £45,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience), bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and days off at Christmas, hybrid working, life assurance, employer pension contributions, and company social events.
Role Responsibilities
- Handling a range of residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold matters
- Managing new build, shared ownership, and land transactions
- Providing clear, practical, and timely advice to clients
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Liaising with estate agents and financial advisers to ensure transactions progress smoothly
- Managing financial aspects of matters including quotations, billing, and cashflow
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development and client relationship activities
Person Specification
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing matters
- Experience handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Exposure to new builds, shared ownership, and land transactions
- A proactive and client focused approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
- Confidence using case management systems and embracing new technology
- Experience in commercial property would be advantageous
