Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join a well-regarded and award-winning law firm based in Darlington, County Durham. This is a permanent, full-time job with flexibility over start and finish times, working 35 hours per week. Part-time at 4 days per week may be considered for the right individual. This is ideally an office-based position, although there may be some flexibility for hybrid working.

The incoming Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will benefit from a competitive salary of up to £50,000 DOE, firm-wide bonus, generous holiday allowance, pension, and a range of well-being benefits.

Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Reporting on title, raising enquiries and drafting reports for clients
  • Delivering high-quality, user-friendly legal advice to private and lender clients
  • Supporting junior team members with technical queries and workflow
  • Demonstrating commitment to excellent client service throughout each transaction
  • Working closely with the wider team and colleagues across other departments
Person Specification
  • A Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with 2+ years’ experience in residential property
  • A confident communicator who can liaise effectively with clients, agents, and team members
  • Experienced in managing residential sale and purchase transactions from instruction to completion
  • Proactive and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable with business development activity including networking and relationship building
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
