Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking a qualified Conveyancer with 2-8 years PQE for a permanent, full-time position based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and highly reputable law firm. You will benefit from a salary of £45,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience), bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and days off at Christmas, hybrid working, life assurance, employer pension contributions, and company social events.

Role Responsibilities

  • Handling a range of residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold matters
  • Managing new build, shared ownership, and land transactions
  • Providing clear, practical, and timely advice to clients
  • Managing files from instruction through to completion
  • Liaising with estate agents and financial advisers to ensure transactions progress smoothly
  • Managing financial aspects of matters including quotations, billing, and cashflow
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship activities

Person Specification

  • Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing matters
  • Experience handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Exposure to new builds, shared ownership, and land transactions
  • A proactive and client focused approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
  • Confidence using case management systems and embracing new technology
  • Experience in commercial property would be advantageous
