Eventus Legal are seeking an ambitious Residential Conveyancer to join an award winning law firm in Leicester. This is a permanent, full time Residential Conveyancer role working in a Partner led team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer (solicitor, legal executive, licensed conveyancer or non-qualified seasoned fee earner) to join a dynamic team, dealing with high quality (low volume) work, with full paralegal and legal assistant support.

Role Responsibilities
- Your new Residential Conveyancer job in Leicester, Leicestershire will see you take responsibility for your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, which you’ll manage through the full conveyancing process right through to completion and post completion.
- You will have support from an experienced team and Partner within the department and have full legal assistant and administrative support to ensure that every transaction runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Specific Duties
- Keeping clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors regularly informed throughout the progress of each conveyancing matter.
- Preparing and issuing client-facing reports containing relevant legal and transaction updates.
- Carrying out title investigations and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns in line with completion requirements.
- Reviewing mortgage offers together with search results to confirm compliance with lender and transaction requirements.
- Providing support on all post-completion activities.
- Handling property-related enquiries by liaising with clients, third parties, and external organisations.
- Preparing completion packs.
- Assisting with Help to Buy applications.
- Liaising with lenders in relation to redemption statements, discharge arrangements, and Certificates of Title.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring excellent standards of client service are consistently delivered.
Person Specification
Applications are sought from experienced Residential Conveyancers in Leicester. You will have previous residential conveyancing experience gained within a reputable law firm. You will have dealt with a variety of residential conveyancing transactions. The successful Residential Conveyancer will have the following skill and experience:
- Residential Conveyancer – Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or seasoned non-qualified fee earner.
- Prior experience managing or assisting on a varied caseload including both leasehold and freehold files.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as and when required.
- Competent IT skills and experience using case management systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships.
