Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join a well‑established and busy conveyancing team based in Redditch, Worcestershire. This Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant job in Redditch, Worcestershire offers the opportunity to support fee earners with a varied residential property caseload, ensuring the smooth progression of transactions from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing direct support to residential conveyancing fee earners
- Assisting with a varied caseload including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Preparing and drafting standard conveyancing documents
- Handling file opening, compliance and onboarding procedures
- Carrying out ID checks, AML compliance and source of funds verification
- Ordering and reviewing property searches
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and lenders
- Progressing transactions and chasing outstanding documentation
- Updating case management systems accurately and efficiently
- Preparing completion statements and assisting with financial transactions
- Ensuring all files are maintained in line with regulatory and firm requirements
- Delivering excellent client care throughout the conveyancing process
- Providing general administrative support to the wider conveyancing team
About You
