Eventus Legal are seeking a confident and passionate Private Client Legal Executive with 3 years PQE+, to join a highly reputable and very well established Private Client team based in central Burton upon Trent, Derbyshire. This is a full-time, permanent job position with a leading regional law firm. Benefits include hybrid working, generous annual leave, pension contributions, local transport links and parking and clear structured career development plans, offering a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Private Client files including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Trusts, Estate Administration and Tax.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior private client team members as and when necessary.
  • Adhering to strict SRA compliance and confidentiality regulations.
  • Providing clear and accurate advice to clients at all times.
  • Support with the ongoing business development of the private client department overall.

Person Specification

Applications are sought from experienced Private Client Legal Executives across Burton on Trent, Derbyshire. You will bring a wealth of experience handling your own caseload of Wills, Probate and LPAs and have excellent attention to detail and technical understanding.

  • Private Client Legal Executive (or Solicitor) with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
  • Prior experience managing an autonomous Private Client caseload.
  • Experience managing and supervising fee earners, or the readiness to step into a supervisory role.
  • Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Full clean driving licence.
