Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Family Solicitor to join the Family Law department of a highly respected law firm with offices across the North of England. This is a permanent, full-time job offering hybrid working and a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a busy and well-regarded team dealing with all aspects of privately funded family work. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload with minimal supervision, while contributing to the wider success of a collaborative, client-focused department. The caseload will primarily include divorce, financial remedy, and children matters for private clients, including high net worth individuals.
Key Duties- Managing a varied caseload independently from initial instruction to conclusion
- Drafting legal documents including court applications, statements, and correspondence
- Providing strategic legal advice on family law matters with empathy and clarity
- Attending court, mediations, and meetings, and preparing detailed documentation
- Maintaining accurate records using the SOS Case Management System
- Engaging in business development including attending networking events and supporting marketing activity
The successful Family Solicitor will enjoy both independent working and team collaboration. You’ll be naturally client-focused and have a strong attention to detail. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- 1-5 years PQE as a Family Solicitor (other levels considered if suitably experienced)
- Experience managing your own caseload of private family law matters
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Comfort with business development and representing the firm externally
