Eventus Legal are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well‑established law firm located in Preston or Lancaster, Lancashire. This permanent, full‑time position offers a competitive salary (up to £48,000 DOE), a bonus scheme, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, hybrid working and clear career progression opportunities.

About the Role

The Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive will manage their own caseload within a busy property department, handling a wide range of commercial property matters. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and work with the firm’s advanced legal technology systems.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a broad range of commercial property transactions including leases, licences, transfers, sales and purchases;
  • Prepare and submit SDLT returns and Companies House registrations;
  • Maintain and progress files from instruction to post‑completion;
  • Liaise directly with clients, agents, referrers and lenders;
  • Ensure all compliance, AML and ID procedures are followed.

Qualifications

  • Solicitor or Legal Executive, with 1‑4 years experience in commercial property;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team;
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Experience using case management systems;
