Eventus Legal are seeking a Commercial Property Paralegal to join a successful and growing Commercial Property team based in Stockton-on-Tees. This permanent opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers hybrid working, remote working, flexible working arrangements and excellent career progression.

Working within a highly regarded Commercial Property department, you will gain exposure to a broad range of commercial property matters whilst receiving ongoing training and support. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and any salary indicated within this advert should be viewed as a guide only.

Job responsibilities

This role provides an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team advising a diverse client base ranging from private individuals through to large commercial organisations:

  • Drafting and negotiating legal documentation for a varied commercial property caseload
  • Handling matters from instruction through to completion
  • Assisting with landlord and tenant matters, secured lending and development work
  • Ordering property searches and completing Land Registry registrations
  • Managing files and maintaining accurate records
  • Conducting legal research where required
  • Building strong professional relationships with clients and contacts
  • Supporting colleagues with more complex commercial property transactions
  • Assisting with business development initiatives and client relationship management
Person specification

Applications are sought from Commercial Property Paralegals, Property Paralegals or legal professionals with previous experience within commercial property or residential property:

  • Experience within a Commercial Property Paralegal or similar legal support position
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • Commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach and willingness to develop your expertise
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willingness to travel occasionally between offices where required
