Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join a Legal 500 law firm in Northwich, Cheshire. This is a full-time, permanent job offering a salary up to £60,000 depending on experience, together with benefits including free onsite parking, pension, a birthday day off, paid sick leave and a Christmas shutdown period.
This Private Client Solicitor job in Northwich offers the opportunity to join a Legal 500 practice that has built an excellent reputation for client care and quality legal advice. The successful Private Client Solicitor will join a collaborative team handling a broad range of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work. This job would suit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who enjoys building lasting client relationships and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of private client matters whilst contributing to the continued success of the department.
- Managing a caseload of Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters.
- Advising clients on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Handling Court of Protection and Deputyship matters where appropriate.
- Advising clients on a range of services for the elderly.
- Maintaining efficient file management in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Achieving agreed fee earning and time recording targets.
- Participating in business development and marketing activities.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the Private Client team.
- Assisting with maintaining the firm's Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme accreditation.
Person Specification:
- Ideally have around 10 years' PQE, although applications are welcomed from candidates with differing levels of experience who can demonstrate the right skills and experience.
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Experience handling Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney matters.
- Experience of Court of Protection and Deputyship matters would be advantageous.
- STEP qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently.
