Eventus Legal are seeking a qualified Residential Conveyancer with experience to join a successful and highly reputable firm based in the city centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne. This is a full-time, permanent office-based position. The law firm offers a generous salary (depending on experience), along with 22 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays plus your birthday as an extra day off, BUPA cash plan, and various company days.

Role Responsibilities

  • The incoming Residential Conveyancer will be expected to handle a manageable caseload of residential conveyancing matters, with support.
  • The files will encompass all areas of residential conveyancing, including both freehold and leasehold properties, both for sales and purchase transactions as well as re-mortgage and transfer of equity work.

Person Specification

  • Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors, FCILEX or Licenced Conveyancers that are qualified with ideally 5 years’ PQE, although applications outside of this will be considered should you be able to demonstrate the requisite skills.
  • You will have excellent knowledge and experience as a fee earner in Residential Conveyancing matters, across all types of transaction.
  • Importantly, the successful Residential Conveyancer will also be able to display:
    • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
    • Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales
    • Good IT skills
