Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancer, Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer to join a successful Residential Property department based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear. This is a permanent, full-time Residential Conveyancer job offering flexible working hours, hybrid working and remote working, alongside an excellent benefits package including uncapped bonus potential, life insurance, retail discounts, enhanced family leave, pension contributions and ongoing career development.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing a mixed caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases and Buy to Let transactions
- Handling leasehold matters, help to buy and right to buy schemes, new build property sales and purchases, mortgages, remortgages, shared ownership, affordable housing and transfer of equity matters
- Providing clear communication and excellent client care throughout the conveyancing process
- Supporting business development activities and helping to build professional relationships and grow the client base
Person Specification
Applications are sought from Residential Conveyancers, Residential Property Solicitors, Legal Executives and Licenced Conveyancers with prior residential conveyancing experience. Non-qualified fee earners with the relevant residential property experience are also encouraged to apply. You will also have:
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience within a fee earning residential conveyancing job
- Prior experience managing a busy and varied residential property caseload
- Knowledge of freehold and leasehold conveyancing transactions
- Experience or understanding of new build transactions including reviewing TP1s
- Familiarity with the Land Registry Portal and lender portals would be advantageous
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client care
