Eventus Legal are seeking a Probate Sales Advisor to join a growing specialist probate service as part of an award winning law firm in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This full-time, permanent job offers a guideline salary of £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with one to two days from home each week after completing your initial settling in period. You will benefit from full probate training, a non-contractual bonus scheme and opportunities to progress as the service grows.
Role Responsibilities
As a Probate Client Sales Advisor in Mansfield, you will liaise with clients and help people understand their options following a bereavement, combining sensitive client care with consultative sales. All enquiries are inbound, with no cold calling. Key responsibilities will include:
- Responding promptly to telephone and email enquiries, listening carefully and providing clear, supportive guidance.
- Managing quotations, follow-up activity and outstanding actions, keeping accurate records in HubSpot.
- Learning the Grant Only and Full Administration services while working closely with the client care and probate teams.
- As your knowledge develops, conducting initial consultations to understand the estate and identify the appropriate service.
- Explaining service options and fees clearly, helping clients make informed decisions.
- Managing Grant Only quotations from initial enquiry through to instruction, and qualifying Full Administration enquiries for the closing call.
Person Specification
The successful Probate Sales Advisor will bring a strong record in telephone based, consultative or advisory sales with up to 2 years' experience. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- The ability to build trust quickly and handle sensitive conversations with empathy, patience and professionalism.
- Commercial confidence and sound judgement when recommending services appropriate to each client’s circumstances.
- Strong organisation and follow up skills, with the ability to manage several active enquiries.
- Experience working towards conversion or revenue targets and confidence using CRM systems.
- Resilience when supporting people experiencing grief or handling emotionally difficult conversations.
- Experience in probate, bereavement services, legal services or supporting vulnerable customers would be beneficial, but is not essential. Full probate training will be provided.
