We're recruiting an experienced Paraplanner for a well-established wealth management practice in Manchester City Centre. This partner practice is part of one of the UK's largest national wealth management networks, specialising in pensions transfer work, investments, tax and estate planning, and genuinely investing in its people. Led by a team of experienced Wealth Managers, the practice has built a strong, loyal client base and has grown steadily. This Paraplanner hire is part of that growth. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with a well-resourced technical team already in place. Hybrid working is standard, with flexible hours on office days. The firm supports candidates working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, with exam support built into the package.

Paraplanner responsibilities:
  • Writing detailed suitability reports and advice letters across pensions, investments, tax and IHT
  • Building and updating cash‑flow models for client reviews and new business recommendations
  • Researching and analysing financial products, platforms and provider solutions
  • Attending client meetings alongside Wealth Managers as required
  • Managing client files end‑to‑end, from application through to completion
  • Liaising with administrators and providers to keep cases progressing
  • Maintaining templates, advice notes and compliance processes
Paraplanner requirements:
  • Previous paraplanning experience within a national wealth management network
  • Sound technical knowledge across pensions transfers, investments and estate planning
  • Confident writing of suitability reports and advice letters to a high standard
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously
  • Comfortable dealing directly with clients, providers and third parties
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning is desirable but not essential. The firm will support candidates who are working towards it.
Paraplanner salary and benefits:
  • Salary up to £40,000
