This is a permanent, full-time job offering a salary up to £26,000, alongside hybrid working of 3 days in the Manchester office and 2 days from home. About the Job
As the incoming Executive Assistant, you will provide key support to a busy Corporate team alongside occasional assistance to the Employment department. This is a varied and fast-paced Executive Assistant job where you will become a central point of support across compliance, administration and team coordination. The employer is seeking someone proactive and confident who enjoys working as part of a close-knit office environment and can manage a broad range of responsibilities efficiently.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing file opening processes and overseeing ongoing compliance requirements
- Carrying out AML and KYC checks whilst monitoring file compliance processes
- Preparing and coordinating payments for submission to accounts
- Supporting fee earners with reporting and document management
- Assisting with invoicing processes, particularly during month-end periods
- Providing support to the Pregnancy & Protected helpline including call handling and conflict checks
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing post within the office
- Supporting the smooth running of the Manchester office including stationery ordering and shared office tasks
- Answering main office calls and assisting with overflow calls from fee earners
- Booking meetings, calls and diary appointments for fee earners when required
- Archiving completed matters accurately and efficiently
- Formatting legal and business documents using Microsoft Word
