Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion
• Providing expert advice on wills, probate, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney
• Advising clients on trust creation and wider succession planning matters
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts
• Contributing to business development initiatives and networking activities
• Supporting the continued growth and profile of the private client department
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience
• Ensuring compliance with professional regulations, firm policies and best practice requirements
• Maintaining accurate records and file management procedures in line with regulatory obligations
• Supporting effective billing, financial management and debt recovery processes

About You

You will be an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive who enjoys developing long‑term client relationships and delivering a high standard of legal advice. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of five years' post‑qualification experience in private client law

• Ability to manage a varied workload independently while meeting deadlines
• Proactive approach to business development and relationship building
• Confidence using legal technology and case management systems
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional approach with a sound understanding of regulatory compliance requirements
• Positive and collaborative attitude with a genuine commitment to client care
• Full UK driving licence
