Eventus Legal are seeking an ambitious Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (or Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer) to join a well‑established and expanding Residential Property team based in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is a full‑time, permanent residential conveyancing position with one of the region’s most reputable and renowned law firms. Benefits include hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, local transport links, bonus scheme and a competitive salary in line with previous experience up to £45,000.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including sale and purchase, leasehold and freehold, right to buy, shared ownership, remortgage and transfer of equity matters.
  • Supporting and assisting junior team members as and when necessary.
  • Drafting all relevant documentation and SDLT forms.
  • Providing clear and accurate advice to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Liaising with estate agents, solicitors, lenders, and other third parties.

Person Specification

  • Applications are sought from experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitors in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a wealth of residential conveyancing experience and have managed your own caseload with autonomy.
  • You will have dealt with a variety of residential conveyancing transactions of varying levels of complexity.
  • Residential Conveyancer – Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, all levels of PQE considered for this role.
  • Prior experience managing a varied caseload including both leasehold and freehold files.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and current regulations.
  • Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
