Eventus Legal are seeking an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join one of the East Midlands most renowned multi-service law firms in Loughborough. This is a permanent, full time commercial property opportunity. Role Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, licences, contracts for sale, transfers etc
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals and landlord and tenant matters
- Conducting title investigations and reviewing searches, enquiries and Land Registry documentation
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, surveyors and other solicitors to progress transactions efficiently
- Providing commercially focused legal advice
- Managing completions and post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Maintaining accurate file management, billing records and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supporting business development activities and helping to build and maintain client relationships
Person Specification
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ+) - all PQE levels are considered for this role
- Prior experience managing or assisting on a varied caseload of commercial property transactions
- Technical knowledge of commercial acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent IT skills and experience using case management systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships
