Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join a progressive and close-knit law firm based in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, or one of their other North Yorkshire offices. This is a permanent job with full flexibility, including hybrid and remote working, part-time hours, and control over your diary. The incoming Private Client Solicitor will benefit from a competitive salary up to £65,000, Health Cash Plan, cycle to work scheme, birthday off, 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, death in service benefit, and sponsorship to gain STEP qualification if required. Role Responsibilities

  • Handling a full private client caseload including wills, probate, estate planning, LPAs, and tax and trust matters
  • Advising on complex inheritance tax and trust structures with high-net-worth clients
  • Running files independently from initial instruction through to billing
  • Supporting collaborative working practices and maintaining a team-spirited culture
  • Contributing to business development and client retention through excellent service

Person Specification

  • Minimum 3 years PQE in Private Client law (experience in tax and trusts strongly preferred)
  • STEP qualification is advantageous; support will be offered to gain the qualification
  • Able to manage your own files from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset
  • Comfortable working in one of their North Yorkshire offices, along with hybrid/remote working (including part-time options)
