Eventus Legal Recruitment is supporting an established and growing law firm in its search for a Legal Assistant to join its Property in Bookham, Surrey office. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual seeking to develop a long term career within property law and legal administration. The successful Legal Assistant will join a collaborative and supportive team environment, assisting with the smooth progression of property transactions while delivering a high standard of client service. This role would suit someone with previous administration experience within a property team within a law firm.

On offer is a basic salary of £26,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience), 22 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension contributions, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the progression of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Preparing and managing legal documentation and correspondence
  • Opening and maintaining client files accurately and efficiently
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
  • Supporting fee earners with diary management and administrative tasks
  • Ensuring compliance procedures and client onboarding processes are completed
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems

  • Previous administration experience within a legal firm within residential or commercial property
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
