Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Property Legal Assistant to join a team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a full‑time, permanent job within an award‑winning law firm. Benefits accompanying this role include a competitive salary, training and development and flexible working options.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assisting with residential conveyancing and commercial property matters at all stages.
  • Opening new files and inputting new instructions onto the Case Management system and producing relevant letters and documents.
  • Drafting straightforward enquiries and replies to enquiries under the supervision of a Fee Earner.
  • Post‑completion formalities including obtaining release of undertakings and registrations.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of the firm’s and client’s documentation.
  • Observing rules on procedures, general conduct and confidentiality in the office as stated in the staff Handbook / Office Manual.

Person Specification

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial property or residential conveyancing department.
  • Ability to deal with enquiries in a customer‑friendly and effective manner.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
