Eventus Legal are seeking a Family Solicitor with experience to join a well-established firm based in Leeds. The successful candidate will be working alongside a thriving and successful team, with progression opportunities. The role is a permanent position.
Role Responsibilities
- The incoming Family Solicitor will be part of a team of Family law specialists, who all handle their own caseload of varied matters.
- You will be responsible for progressing your own caseload of files (primarily privately funded) including divorce and separation, financial issues arising out of family breakdown as well as children act and civil partnership matters.
- The firm also do carry out publicly funded work and it would be a benefit if you have experience in areas such as care proceedings, injunctions and domestic violence.
Person Specification
- Applications are welcomed from newly qualified Solicitors (up to 4PQE) and Legal Executives who have experience undertaking their own advocacy, as you will be attending court on a regular basis.
- Although this role will be focussed on privately funded work, ideally you will have experience across the full range of family law including experience in legal aid work.
