Eventus Legal are seeking a Solicitor & Head of Litigation to join a well-established, multi-office law firm operating across North and West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, permanent job offering a salary of up to £65,000 (depending on experience). The successful Solicitor & Head of Litigation will lead a growing dispute resolution department while managing a high-quality caseload, with genuine leadership autonomy, hybrid working, enhanced annual leave, company paid healthcare, pension contributions, birthday leave, CSR leave and access to 24/7 remote GP services and EAP support.

Role Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation, civil litigation, property disputes and contentious probate matters
- Achieving and overseeing billing, WIP and performance targets across the department
- Leading, mentoring and developing fee earners and support staff, conducting regular performance reviews
- Driving departmental strategy, compliance and risk management in line with the wider business plan
- Supporting business development and strengthening referral networks across North Yorkshire
- Being a visible leader, setting standards of excellence while continuing to build a strong personal practice
Person Specification
