Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Secretary to join a team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, permanent job. Benefits include on-site parking, generous holiday allowance and regular social events.
Role Responsibilities
- Assisting with residential conveyancing matters at all stages.
- Opening new files and inputting new instructions onto the Case Management system and producing relevant letters and documents.
- Updating the Case Management system in accordance with team procedures as the matter progresses.
- Issuing contracts on sale files and assisting in dealing with replies to enquiries.
- Ordering searches.
Person Specification
- At least 18 months’ experience in residential conveyancing.
- Ability to deal with enquiries in a customer-friendly and effective manner.
- Possess a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
