Eventus Recruitment is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join a dynamic and growing commercial law firm in Manchester. This is a full‑time, permanent role offering hybrid working, flexible hours, a varied caseload, a collaborative culture and a firm that supports career progression without billing targets.
Responsibilities
- Providing advice on contracts, staff handbooks and policies
- Handling absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Managing redundancy and restructuring matters
- TUPE transfers and employment aspects of business acquisitions
- Tribunal case preparation and advocacy
- Advising on collective issues including trade unions and negotiations
- Providing day‑to‑day HR and strategic advice to clients
About You
This role suits a confident and personable employment solicitor with strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset. You’ll enjoy working closely with clients and colleagues and want to build your career in a supportive, forward‑thinking law firm.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years’ PQE in employment law
- Experience managing a mix of contentious and advisory employment matters
- Clear and confident communication style, both written and verbal

- Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in employment law developments
