Eventus Legal is seeking a Property Solicitor with 8 or more years' PQE to join an established law firm in Dorking, Surrey. Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, or CILEX Lawyers who have commercial and residential property experience. This is a full time, permanent job position offering a salary of £55,000 to £70,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with one day from home each week, and a performance related bonus paying up to 25%. In addition, The successful Property Solicitor will take on a caseload of commercial and residential property matters. This an excellent opportunity for an experienced property fee earner looking for a broad senior position with a mixed caseload.
Role Responsibilities
The Property Solicitor will handle a caseload of commercial and residential property matters within a busy property team. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of commercial and residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
- Providing clear, practical, and commercially aware advice to clients throughout property transactions
- Maintaining high standards of client care, communication, and file management
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the property team and wider law firm
- Managing matters efficiently while maintaining appropriate professional and regulatory standards
Person Specification
Applications are invited from highly experienced property lawyers within commutable range of Dorking, Surrey who are confident handling both commercial property and residential conveyancing work. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX Lawyer
- Ideally 8+ years PQE
- Substantial experience of managing your own commercial property and residential conveyancing caseload
- Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing practice
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- The confidence and experience to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
