Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join an established and growing residential property team in Croydon, Surrey. This is a full time, office based role offering a salary of £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, together with a bonus scheme, pension contributions, and genuine progression opportunities.
This Residential Conveyancer role will suit a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Residential Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE. Highly experienced non-qualified Fee Earners who are confident managing their own residential conveyancing caseload will be considered.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe incoming Residential Conveyancer will handle a varied caseload of residential property matters while helping to develop and grow the Brighton office. Duties will include:
- Managing a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Dealing with remortgages and transfers of equity
- Managing new build property transactions
- Building and developing your own caseload
- Working independently as a standalone fee earner initially
- Providing clear, proactive, and professional client care throughout each transaction
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and other solicitors
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Croydon office
- Engaging in business development and networking activity to help expand the local residential conveyancing presence
Applications are welcomed from qualified Residential Conveyancers with 3+ years PQE, and non-qualified candidates who have strong levels of experience and technical ability. The successful candidate will have:
- Experience handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload
- Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Residential Conveyancer, or Legal Executive, or strong equivalent fee earning experience
- The ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
- Strong client care and communication skills
