Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant for a full-time, permanent job position in Cleveleys, Lancashire, supporting a newly joined fee earner in the residential property department of a respected law firm. About the Role
As the Conveyancing Assistant, you will support a fee earner who has recently joined the residential property team, helping to manage a busy caseload from instruction through to completion. Your day to day work will include:
- Liaising with clients and third parties throughout the transaction
- Carrying out AML checks and setting up new files
- Reviewing mortgage offers and property searches
- Drafting contracts and correspondence
- Preparing completion packs
- Providing general administrative support, including diary and file management, scanning and handling post
About You
Applications are welcome from experienced Conveyancing Assistants, Legal Assistants and Paralegals who have the following skills and experience:
- At least one year of conveyancing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A personable, friendly and professional approach
- A collaborative, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
- Strong organisation and time management skills
