The Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the established Private Client team of a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm. This is a full-time, permanent job role based in either Congleton or Macclesfield, offering the chance to work on a diverse private client caseload. About the Role
As the incoming Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive, you will undertake the full spectrum of private client work including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, Estate Administrations and Trusts. The role also involves:
- Advising clients face-to-face, over the phone and via video, maintaining excellent client care
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence using the case management system
- Supervising and supporting junior team members as needed
- Taking an active role in business development and building strong referral relationships
- Participating in internal meetings and contributing to team development
- Maintaining clear, accurate files (paper and electronic) in line with Lexcel standards
- Ensuring time recording, billing and file management aligns with firm targets
About You
This role would suit a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 3 years' PQE, who is confident managing a full and varied caseload with minimal supervision. You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and powers of attorney
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to client care
- A collaborative mindset with experience or interest in supervising others
- Sound IT skills and experience working with legal case management systems
- A commercial awareness and willingness to support business development
