Eventus Legal is seeking a Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join an incredibly successful team within a regional law firm based in Preston, Lancashire. Role ResponsibilitiesThe successful Commercial Litigation Lawyer will be joining a team of experts with a fantastic client base, working with many HNW clients, blue‑chip companies, SMEs and sports personalities. You will work closely with the existing team to provide support on a range of matters from inception to completion, mainly as either 1st or 2nd chair on cases. This role would suit an experienced Commercial Litigation/Dispute Resolution solicitor who is seeking an opportunity to mentor and supervise junior members of the team.
Person SpecificationThe incoming Commercial Litigation Lawyer will have at least 4 years PQE and will be a forward‑thinking, driven and ambitious individual. Importantly, you’ll also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Client care skills with a clear focus on service
- Outstanding technical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Collaborative, working well with the team and other departments
- Leadership qualities
- Organised with the ability to manage your own caseload
