Eventus Recruitment are seeking an Employment Lawyer to join a dynamic and growing commercial law firm in the Preston area. This is a full-time, permanent job offering hybrid working, flexible hours, and the chance to work on high-quality employment matters for commercial clients. As an Employment Lawyer, you will work closely with experienced partners and a well-established team to provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to a wide range of employer clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice on contracts, staff handbooks and policies
  • Handling absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Managing redundancy and restructuring matters
  • TUPE transfers and employment aspects of business acquisitions
  • Tribunal case preparation and advocacy
  • Advising on collective issues including trade unions and negotiations
  • Providing day-to-day HR and strategic advice to clients

This job would suit a confident and personable employment solicitor with strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset.   • At least 4 years’ PQE in employment law
